Your data, plainly explained
LAST UPDATED 26 OCTOBER 2026
Who we are
Atlas Room (atlasroom.live) is operated by Yieldenza Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore. For any privacy question or request, write to [email protected].
Where your data is stored
Atlas Room's servers, and everything they hold, are hosted in the European Union, in Frankfurt, Germany (Amazon Web Services).
If you just browse
- No cookies by default. Our own visit counter uses no cookies. It records the page, your rough country (from our network provider, Cloudflare), language, whether you use a phone or a computer, the site that sent you, and a visitor code that changes every day and cannot be traced back to you. We do not store your IP address in it.
- Google Analytics, only if you agree. If you press "Accept" on the cookie notice, Google Analytics sets cookies to measure how the site is used, with IP anonymisation on. Google may process this data outside the EU. You can change your mind any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
- The "You" marker on the globe is estimated in your own browser from your device's time zone. If you choose "Use my exact location", it is stored only in your browser and never sent to us.
If you get an Agent
When you sign up we store your email address, the alerts you chose, your home city if you gave one, your language and time zone, your rough country, and which boxes you ticked and when. We use them to send the alerts and updates you asked for and, if you ticked it, the weekly briefing.
Faith & Calendar is optional. Your chosen faith is only stored if you tick its separate box, is used only to send that content, is never used for advertising or shared, and can be removed at any time.
If you ask the Agent
When you type a question into "Ask the Agent", we send the question, the live data shown on the site and, if your browser gave it, your approximate town or area (rounded to about 10 km) to OpenAI, which writes the answer. We do not store your question text; we only count how many questions are asked. OpenAI may keep requests for up to 30 days to prevent abuse and does not use them to train its models. Please do not type personal details. Answers are written by AI and can be wrong.
If you use the Telegram Agent
If you open @AtlasRoomAgentBot on Telegram, we keep your Telegram chat number (not your phone number), your points and rank, and the field reports you send. When you report what you see, you share a location; we keep only the area, rounded to about 10 km, and show it on the globe without any name. When a report is verified by instruments or confirmed by other Agents, it appears on the public Field Wire with your Agent codename (for example RB9-JAN), your rank and badges, never your name, email or Telegram details. A short note you add is checked by AI and published only if it describes what you saw without personal details. Field reports are deleted after 90 days. Questions you type to the bot are answered by OpenAI as described above and are not stored. Send /forget to the bot at any time to delete all of this.
Why we may use it (legal basis)
- Your consent: alert and briefing emails, Faith & Calendar, Google Analytics.
- Our legitimate interest: the cookie-free visit counter, and keeping the service secure and working.
Who helps us
Amazon Web Services (hosting, Frankfurt), Cloudflare (network and security), Google (analytics, only with your consent), and Resend (sending our emails, EU region), OpenAI (writing the answers in Ask the Agent, only for the questions you type there), and Telegram (only if you choose to use our Telegram bot). The live data on the site comes from public sources (USGS, NASA, NOAA, GDACS and others); we never send them anything about you. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
Raw visit records are deleted after 90 days. Your Agent details are kept until you leave; after that they are deleted. Sign-ups that are never confirmed by email are deleted after 30 days. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link. Emails are sent for us by Resend (EU region).
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, withdraw any consent, or object to how we use it, by writing to [email protected]. If you are in the EU you can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Enter the email you signed up with and we will remove it and your choices straight away.
Children
Atlas Room is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top, and tell Agents by email about important changes.
